Yno’s innovation has Qredits

When you see the hyper-modern wooden mountainbikes from Sandwichbikes, you wouldn’t expect a sharply dressed man in a business suit on it.  But this happens to be the brain behind Sandwichbikes: Yno Papen.

I know how to talk

For most of his life Yno worked in the automobile branch. “But at a certain moment I wondered: What’s next? It was a logical step to start my own business.” He starts a consultancy firm and quickly brings in some good clients. “I know how to talk and have found that businesses actually seek me out.”

Innovative products

Yno is not only good at giving strategic advice, he is driven and adventurous and wants to market innovative products. Sandwichbikes is his first creation: a mountainbike with a wooden frame that you put together yourself. The creative brain behind the product is his business partner Basten Leijh and together they launch Pedalfactory in 2013.  Yno was able to finance the first phase himself, but pretty soon more funding was needed. However, the banks would not loan it to him. A friend pointed him to Qredits whose loan officer went to battle for him and helped him get the financing he needed to grow. Thanks to a microcredit loan the Pedalfactory is now a successful business exporting 95% of its products abroad.
